Acousta-fil® is a unique mat product made of voluminized continuous glass filaments. These fibres are compressed and fixed on special-made machines. The design of the mat will be adapted to the geometry of the exhaust silencer and the acoustic requirements profile will be measured custom-fit. A controlled expansion occurs during heating - “restoring forces” of the glass filaments are filling the exhaust silencer.
